Statutory ban on incandescent light bulbs in Germany and other European countries.
Since 2009, the law goes into effect !
Here are the statutory deadlines:
From 1st September 2009 no matte bulbs or other lamps with more than 100 watts may be sold,
From September 2010 no bulbs with 75 watts or more,
From September 2011 no light bulbs with 60 watts or more,
From Sept. 2012 no light bulbs with 10 watt or more,
In 2016 absolutely no household lamps below efficiency class B. This also includes many halogen lamps and LED lamps and energy saving lamps, which are not efficient enough.
Get active ! Help reducing CO2 emissions and prevent destroying our climate.
If all participate in energy economization, the process can be stopped.
